Australia-funded project improves Vietnamese women’s livelihoods post-Covid
Australia-funded project in Vietnam has helped nearly 3,600 women recover from the economic impact of Covid-19. The project provided cash assistance and technical support, reaching about 14,300 people. It also trained government agencies and service providers on essential services for women at risk, and raised awareness through media programs. UN Women and Australia's government collaborated with local organizations. The project has demonstrated success in addressing the challenges faced by women and families affected by the pandemic.
