Thai Clinician and Statistician Dies from Lung Cancer, Sparks Concerns about PM 2.5 Air Pollution
Kritthai Tansombatitkul, a 28 year old clinician and statistician at Chiang Mai University, passed away from late-stage lung cancer despite living a healthy lifestyle. He believed air pollution, particularly the dust in northern Thailand, may have contributed to his illness. He expressed concerns about the financial burden of masks and air filters on citizens and emphasized the right to clean air for future generations.
