Bangkok's Electrifying Plan to Bury 1,454 Kilometres of Cables Underground
Bangkok's Metropolitan Electricity Authority plans to bury 1,454km of electrical cables underground over the next decade. Newly elected Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt unveiled a plan to replace and bury the cluttered power cables across the city. The project aims to improve electricity distribution and efficiency, implementing smart technology and increasing the number of smart meters.
