Thai heatwave claims 61 lives, with a warning of ongoing threat
Thailand's Ministry of Public Health reported 61 heatwave fatalities so far this year, a significant increase from last year. Most casualties were in the northeastern region, with many victims having underlying medical conditions and being exposed to high temperatures. The public is advised to avoid outdoor activities during peak sun hours, stay hydrated, and take frequent shade breaks to prevent heat stroke.
