Rise of 'Toy Pods' E-Cigarettes Sparks Concern Among Academics
A new breed of e-cigarettes, known as 'toy pods', designed to resemble toys, targets school and university students. They are the fifth generation of e-cigarettes and contain up to 5% synthetic nicotine, with up to 15,000 puffs. Concerns have been raised over the marketing tactics, with reports of primary school children being in possession of these devices. There are also concerns over the potential health risks posed by nicotine in e-cigarettes.
