New Regulations for Non-Thai Passengers on Domestic Flights in Thailand
The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has tightened control on boarding pass and ID checks for non-Thai passengers on domestic flights. The name on the boarding pass must exactly match the passengerās government-issued ID, and screen-captured passes are not accepted. Non-Thai passengers need a government-issued ID along with a boarding pass. In other news, the Thai government is seeking to extend the list of visa-free countries for Thai passport holders, and a 'Snakes on a Plane' incident occurred on a domestic flight.
