3 Vietnamese men arrested in Bangkok for illegal wildlife trafficking
Three Vietnamese men were arrested in Bangkok for attempting to traffic more than 1,000 animals. The animals, including birds, turtles, snakes, and lizards, were found concealed in cardboard cupboards. The suspects confessed to buying the animals from a market and smuggling them to Laos for a payment of 700 baht per box and 4,000 baht per trip. They face charges under the Wild Animal Preservation and Protection Act.
